To visit Snow Monkey Park as a day trip from Tokyo, take the JR Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Nagano Station (1.5 to 2 hours). From Nagano, transfer to the Nagano Dentetsu Line to Yudanaka Station (45 minutes). At Yudanaka, take a local bus or taxi to Kanbayashi Onsen, which is the closest stop to the park. Finally, walk 30 minutes along a forest trail to reach the park entrance.
