Landmannalaugar Campsite & Hut is a stunningly picturesque accommodation nestled in the heart of Iceland's Highlands, providing a perfect base for exploring Landmannalaugar.

The local camping site is enormous and does not require advanced booking. Just see the ranger's office on arrival. Campers have access to the bathrooms and drinking water as well as outdoor tables and benches. Showers are available for 900 ISK for 5 min.

You can also stay in the hut, but it requires booking far in advance. Follow the link for hut availability. The huts usually run around $100 per night.
