I’d go to Sunrise Point for canyon scenery.

Sunrise Point is one of the most iconic viewpoints in Bryce Canyon and the best spot in the park to watch the day begin. Perched at 8,015 feet on the rim of the Bryce Amphitheater, it offers a sweeping panoramic view of thousands of hoodoos that glow like embers as the first light hits the canyon — a moment that is genuinely difficult to describe and impossible to forget.

The viewpoint requires only a short walk from the parking area, making it accessible to virtually everyone. It is also the starting point for the Queen's Garden Trail, so many visitors combine a sunrise visit with an early morning descent into the canyon before the crowds arrive.

TIP: Arrive 15–20 minutes before official sunrise for the best light. Bryce Canyon sits above 8,000 feet, so mornings are cold even in summer — bring a warm layer. The adjacent Sunset Point is equally stunning and just a short walk along the rim trail.
