The dry season's pleasant weather and little to no rain is perfect for beach days and outdoor activities. It is also a peak season with higher costs.

Green, a.k.a. Rainy season is quite long, with rains almost every day. Some times they are short, other times can pour all day. But the rainforests are especially lush and wildlife rich, so it's still a good season to vistit if you are prepared. The rainiest months are September and October. November is a transition month with frequent but short rainfalls.

You have two options of getting to the falls: a moderate unguided 5-mile hike ($29), or a guided option with 3-mile hike and then a 4x4 or horseback riding experience for the most difficult parts of the route ($59).

Both options provide access to all 4 big falls and 10 bridges, and mostly depend on your personal preferences.
