Start with your kind of trip

City rhythm or race-week energy?

Choose the days you want to have, then fit the hotel and transport around them.

Start with four city days; shorter and longer options keep the same city base. The F1 outline is a trip shape, not a confirmed session timetable. Check the event edition before booking.

The details make the difference

Make the days fit together.

01 · Choose your base

Stay near your kind of Austin.

Downtown for a broad city stay, South Congress for its street life, East Austin for food and bars. Compare the actual location before the room.

Find your neighborhood

02 · Choose your week

Let the season set the pace.

Spring and fall make city days easier. Summer calls for early starts and indoor breaks; festival and race weeks need a separate plan.

03 · Plan the circuit

Get the return sorted, too.

A downtown shuttle, reserved parking and rideshare have different last-mile arrangements. Book the correct event year and leave the circuit days clear.

A word from your curator

Roman, Fyno curatorRoman
I love Austin for the way a day can move from cold spring water to slow-smoked brisket to a live set you never planned to hear. Follow your appetite, linger when the music is good, and leave a little room for the city to surprise you.

Somewhere worth coming back to

Choose the setting, then the stay.

A South Congress base, an East Austin alternative or a downtown stay. These are curated choices, with availability checked separately.

A good place to start

Before you go.

How many days do I need in Austin?

Start with the four-day City Break for downtown, South Congress and East Austin. A two- or three-day variant keeps the focus tighter; five to seven days leave room for more city time or a separate Lockhart or Wimberley outing. The F1 plan is a different five-day outline around the circuit.

Can I visit Austin without a car?

Yes for a city-led trip: walk within neighborhoods and use CapMetro or rideshare between them. Route 20 connects the airport with downtown and UT. Lockhart, Wimberley and COTA require their own transport plan; a race-weekend shuttle can be a better fit than a rental car.

When should I plan to see the bats?

March–October is the usual Congress Avenue Bridge viewing window, but emergence time and visibility vary with weather and migration. Check Austin Bat Refuge’s current observations, arrive with time to choose a viewing spot, and keep the lakefront evening flexible.

Is every listed concert part of the next F1 weekend?

No. The catalog includes named concert listings from an earlier event edition. They do not establish the next lineup or ticket inclusion. Check COTA’s current event program before choosing a concert or race ticket.
