Moroccan spring brings pleasant temperatures, making it a perfect time to visit, and also making it a high season. Account for a floating month of Ramadan (March 22 to April 20 in 2023).

Spring

Avoid July and August since it gets extremely hot in the cities and you won't reach the desert because of the influx of snakes and insects. June might be okay to visit if you're used to heat and want fewer crowds.

Summer

September might still be hot in the desert, but it gets much cooler compared to the summer months. October is great for all activities except it could be a bit wet in the Atlas Mountains.

Fall

The winter shoulder season is chilly but is great to explore the cities without crowds and head into the Sahara Desert. It does get busy around Christmas and New Year with travelers from Europe. Hiking the Atlas Mountains is not an option in winter.
