Connect the right outings
Keep lift-served skiing separate from guided backcountry. Respect closures and boundary ropes; a guide, suitable experience and avalanche preparation do not turn closed gates into permitted access. [7]

Choose the ski base before the hotel: Hirafu, Hanazono, Niseko Village and Annupuri have different settings. Rusutsu is a separate resort and transfer, not a fifth Niseko United sector.

Before you set off
Keep lift-served skiing separate from guided backcountry. Respect closures and boundary ropes; a guide, suitable experience and avalanche preparation do not turn closed gates into permitted access. [7]
Match your airport transfer, ski school and chosen lift base before booking. Village shuttles and lift links have operating limits; keep a ground-transfer fallback for weather interruptions. [5]
Hirafu favors village dining and several apartment options. Annupuri and Niseko Village offer quieter resort settings. Miru and the Grand Hotel have different locations from the upper Hirafu slopes.
