Inn at Lost Creek
I’d go for Inn at Lost Creek if you want a stay with a spa. The views are part of the appeal.
More about this place
Inn at Lost Creek is a ski-in/ski-out boutique hotel in Mountain Village, the purpose-built resort community connected to downtown Telluride by the free gondola. It's one of the finest small hotels on the mountain — intimate, with just 32 rooms — and its location steps from the gondola base gives guests both ski access and a 13-minute gondola ride to downtown Telluride.
Rooms and suites are handsomely decorated in a classic mountain style with stone fireplaces, steam showers, and balconies overlooking the slopes. There's a small spa, a fitness center, and a ground-floor restaurant and bar with a fireplace lounge that's ideal for après-ski.
The gondola connection is the key differentiator: guests can ski down to the gondola, ride into town for dinner, and return in the evening — getting the best of both the ski mountain and the historic town without ever needing a car.
Inn at Lost Creek suits travelers who want genuine ski-in/ski-out access in an intimate setting — couples and small groups especially. It's a quieter, more personal alternative to the larger Telluride resort hotels.
