Limelight Snowmass
I’d go for Limelight Snowmass if you want an alpine stay. Having a restaurant on site is handy.
More about this place
Limelight Snowmass is the Aspen/Snowmass sibling of Limelight Denver, a modern ski hotel in Snowmass Base Village with direct ski-in/ski-out access and the outdoor-culture ethos that defines the Limelight brand. It's one of the newer properties in the area, opened as part of Base Village's redevelopment, and brings a fresh energy to the mountain.
The hotel features a large rooftop pool and hot tub with mountain views, an on-site restaurant and lively apres-ski bar, a well-equipped fitness center, and gear storage. Rooms are comfortably designed with mountain-modern aesthetics; many have balconies overlooking the slopes.
Base Village itself is a pedestrian plaza at the base of Snowmass ski area with shops, restaurants, and the Snowmass Ice Age Discovery Center — it's a self-contained destination that feels livelier than the surrounding village.
Limelight Snowmass is excellent for active travelers who want ski-in/ski-out access in a social, contemporary environment. It attracts a younger demographic than the quieter mountain properties and excels at the après-ski experience.
